A 40-year-old San Jose man lost his life following a single-vehicle accident Thursday night in Saratoga.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash was reported at about 9 p.m. on northbound Highway 9 south of Redwood Gulch Road. The preliminary reports showed that the man was driving a 2014 Nissan GT-R that veered off a curve in the road, went down a steep embankment and rolled over several times as it hit trees and brush.
He died as a result of the accident. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
