On Monday, four people suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle accident in Surprise.
As per the initial information, the four-vehicle pile-up took place on Loop 303 near Peoria Avenue. The early reports showed that two big rigs collided with two passenger cars for undetermined reasons. Both the semis rolled on their sides due to the accident. Officials initially stated that the extent of the injuries suffered by the victims was unclear.
In a later update, it was reported that all the four victims sustained non-fatal injuries. The northbound lanes of Loop 303 near Peoria Avenue were shut down as crews worked at the scene, but they have since reopened. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
