4 people hospitalized after a solo-vehicle crash in North Knox County (Knoxville, TN)

On early Wednesday morning, four people suffered injuries following a fiery crash in North Knox County.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of the 7700 block of E. Emory Road a little before 2 a.m. in response to a single-vehicle accident. On arrival, responders discovered that the crash had triggered the fire.

According to the responders, there were four minors in the vehicle. One of the four was ejected from the vehicle due to the accident. All four occupants were rushed to a trauma center with unspecified injuries. UT LIFESTAR airlifted two of the four to UT Medical Center. No other details are available.

The crash remains under investigation.
