The Carrollton Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday evening. The accident happened on southbound Interstate 35 East at around 9 p.m
The collision involved an 18-wheeler and three other vehicles. Police confirmed four people were declared dead at the scene. Three others were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. The name and identities of the victims have not been made public yet.
It is unsure how the crash happened, and whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. Additional information regarding the deadly crash is not available currently.
