39-year-old man injured after a traffic accident in North Park (San Diego, CA)

A 39-year-old man received injuries after a crash Friday in North Park.

As per the initial information, the traffic accident involving a skateboarder took place at about 10:30 p.m. on Wightman Street and Arnold Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that a skateboarder left the sidewalk on Wightman Street and struck a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old woman on Arnold Avenue.

The man was transported to a hospital with a fractured skull and brain bleed. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt and alcohol did not contribute to the collision. No other information is available.

The incident remains under review.
