On Friday, officials identified 39-year-old Luis Corona as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday in the Santa Fe Springs area.
The fatal motorcycle crash was reported at approximately 4:05 p.m. on the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway near the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway. According to the investigation reports, a motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the collision.
The motorcycle rider, identified as Luis Corona, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His city of residence is unknown at this time. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
