38-year-old man dead after his vehicle crashes into a tree in Yakima (Yakima, WA)

On Friday morning, a 38-year-old man lost his life after his vehicle slammed into a tree in Yakima.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the intersection of S 80th Ave and W Nob Hill Blvd at around 3:00 a.m. after getting reports of a single-vehicle crash. The early reports showed that a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was traveling west on Nob Hill Blvd when the driver ran a stop sign and the truck went straight through the intersection.
