According to the Leander Police Department, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Tuesday night.
The officials stated that two officers, one officer-in-training and a field training officer were inside a vehicle when 38-year-old Joel Ramirez struck their vehicle from behind.
The officials stated that the crash happened in the 17700 block of Ronald Reagan Boulevard north of Hero Way at around 11 p.m.
Both victims were taken to the hospital and suffered minor injuries from the crash.
Officials have charged Ramirez with driving under the influence. He is booked at the Williamson County Jail.
The identity of the victims was not released by the police.
