37-year-old Tim Renshaw died following a rear-end collision in South LA (Los Angeles, CA)

Officials identified 37-year-old Tim Renshaw as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Thursday in Los Angeles.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place in the 1500 block of West 39th Street at around 2:43 a.m. The preliminary reports showed that a man riding a motorcycle was struck by a vehicle from behind. The man was ejected from the bike due to the impact.

Renshaw was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Impairment was not believed to be involved in this accident. No other information is available.

An investigation is ongoing.
