37-Year-Old Omar Moreno Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Pima County (Pima County, AZ)

October 31, 2023 – Nationwide Report®

In a tragic motor vehicle accident on Saturday, October 28, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a rollover traffic collision. The accident occurred in the 10,000 block of South Nogales Highway at approximately 12:17 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies identified the driver as 37-year-old Omar Moreno. Moreno was found fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary findings suggest that Moreno may have suffered a medical event while driving. This led to his vehicle drifting off the roadway, subsequently striking a fence and mounds of dirt. This caused the vehicle to roll onto its side before coming to a stop.

It has been determined that neither speed nor impairment are suspected factors in this tragic incident, and no other vehicles were involved. The investigation into this fatal crash is currently underway.
