37-year-old Danny Cook dead after a motorcycle collision in Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX)

Authorities identified 37-year-old Danny Cook as the man who lost his life after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Wichita Falls.

The fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 10:50 a.m. on FM 369 and FM 367. The preliminary reports showed that a truck was heading northbound on FM 369 when the driver tried to turn westbound on FM 367. The two vehicles reportedly slammed into each other at the intersection, causing the motorcycle to crash into the west side ditch of FM 369.

Danny Cook, of Wichita Falls, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck. He was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the truck reportedly remained unharmed in the crash. The Wichita Falls ISD community is mourning the loss of Cook who was a member of their technology department for the past 12 years. No other details available.

An investigation is ongoing.
