The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash on Saturday early morning. The accident happened at around 12:25 a.m. The collision involved only one vehicle.
In a 2000 Buick LeSabre, 36-year-old Patrick Demond Caldwell was driving dangerously fast on County Road 3185 in the direction of the west. According to the report, Caldwell’s car veered off the road, hit a tree on the driver’s side, and caught fire three miles east of Mount Enterprise.
At the scene, Caldwell was pronounced dead as he had incurred fatal injuries. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
Investigators are still looking into the fatal crash. There is currently no other information available regarding the deadly crash.
