The San Diego Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident in San Pasqual on Friday. The accident occurred in the 18900 block of San Pasqual Valley Road at around 2:45 p.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. A motorcycle was trying to pass a gas truck at a sharp turn. Unfortunately, the driver lost control and crashed into a large rock putting it in the path of the truck. The truck ran over the driver.
The driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been disclosed at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. The officials have confirmed that alcohol did not play a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
