On Tuesday, a 35-year-old man suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 44.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash was reported at about 7:50 a.m. on Highway 44, east of Liberty Street. The early reports showed that a Sedan and a motorcycle were involved in the accident. On arrival, emergency crews transported the motorcyclist to Mercy Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed at this time. Officers rerouted the traffic to East Street through downtown Redding. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
