Authorities identified 34-year-old Shirrell Quiroz as the woman who lost her life following a crash early Thursday in west Phoenix.
As per the initial information, fatal car accident took place on 83rd Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that Quiroz was driving a sedan northbound on 83rd Avenue when it veered off the road north of Indian School Road and crashed into a large tree.
Shirrell Quiroz was declared dead at the scene around 2 a.m., the Phoenix Police Department said in a statement. A male passenger was rushed to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
The incident remains under review.
