34-Year-Old Man and 39-Year-Old Woman Killed In A Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Mission Bay (Mission Bay, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Monday in Mission Bay. Authorities stated that two persons died due to the motorcycle accident.

Officials confirmed that the collision occurred on West Mission Bay Drive. A Toyota Prius was travelling, when a Honda CBR600RR motorcycle tried to pass the Prius on the right.

As a result of this, the Prius struck the motorcycle. The 34-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The driver of the Prius was identified as 39-year-old Donna Munoz.

Munoz was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Other insights into the collision are yet to be released. 

The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
