The Kern County coroner’s office identified 34-year-old Leon Glenn Mims, from Los Angeles, as the man who lost his life following a crash Monday in California City.
The fatal single-vehicle accident took place on California City Boulevard, east of Maverick Street. The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle driven by Leon Glenn Mims veered off the road and rolled over.
Mims succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash at 3:02 a.m. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
An investigation is ongoing.
