Authorities reported a pedestrian crash on Victory Drive near Morgan Street in Columbus. The crash happened on Wednesday around 7 a.m. that claimed a life.
Nyteisha Adeogun,33, was identified as the victim.
According to the Columbus Police Department, a vehicle traveling west struck Adeogun.
Adeogun was pronounced dead at the scene around 7:40 by Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
Further details relating to the crash were not provided by the officials. The crash is being investigated.
