32-year-old Michelle Fletcher killed after a car rear-ends a disabled tractor-trailer on I-75S (Bibb County, GA)

32-year-old Michelle Fletcher lost her life after a car struck a disabled tractor-trailer form behind I-75S in Bibb County.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 6 p.m. Saturday on I-75S, near the Hartley Bridge Road exit. The preliminary reports showed that a tractor-trailer was stalled in the second to left lane and there were emergency cones placed behind it when a Kia Sorento rear-ended the truck.

On arrival, first responders rushed the driver and passenger of the Kia to the Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent. The passenger, 32-year-old Michelle Fletcher, later succumbed to her injuries. The extent of injuries sustained by the driver remains unknown at this time.

Georgia State Patrol is looking into this fatal crash.
