According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Bakersfield on Thursday. The crash happened at the intersection of Wible Road and Wood Lane at around 4 a.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown vehicle and a 32-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the unknown driver traveling southbound struck a 32-year-old who was walking in the roadway.
A 32-year-old man suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The Bakersfield Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
