32-year-old man killed after a single-car crash in north Houston (Houston, TX)

A 32-year-old man lost his life after a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning in north Houston.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at about 9:35 a.m. in the 12000 block of the North Freeway service road. The preliminary reports showed that a man was driving a white Toyota Corolla at a high rate of speed when the car ran off the roadway and slammed into a concrete pillar.

On arrival, the first responders rushed the man to the hospital, where he was declared dead. No other injuries were reported. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
