A driver involved in street racing caused a fatal accident Friday afternoon.
Mahad Zara,32, identified as the victim, succumbed to his injuries.
The Chandler police are in search of the driver who caused the accident.
The police officials stated that Zara died after he lost control of his red Chevy Camaro.
According to the police, Zara crashed into a brick wall near Gilbert and Chandler Heights Roads. The victim of the accident was racing another driver, driving at speeds of 90 mph.
The driver of the other car fled from the scene.
Witnesses reported to the police that the other driver was operating a charcoal coloured, Dodge type sports car.
