According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motorcycle accident occurred in Wichita County on Sunday. The crash happened just north of FM 1954 at around 8:10 a.m. 

According to the investigators, a Harley-Davidson and a 32-year-old were involved in the collision. The driver of the Harley Davidson failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road into a ditch, and crashed into some trees. 

A 32-year-old Lee Godwin was identified as the motorcyclist who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the reports, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved.
