32-year-old Joyce Huang dead after an auto-pedestrian collision in Camino Tassajara (Camino Tassajara, CA)

On Friday, authorities identified 32-year-old Joyce Huang, of Danville, as the woman who lost her life after a crash Thursday night in Camino Tassajara.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at around 8:06 p.m. The investigation reports showed that Huang was walking along Danville’s heavily traveled Camino Tassajara when she was hit by a vehicle. The 32-year-old woman received major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials.

Camino Tassajara was shut down at Wood Ranch Road for several hours to give way to the investigation. The roadway has since re-opened. No further details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
