32-year-old Adam Heinke killed after a solo-vehicle crash near Kent (Kent, WA)

Authorities identified 32-year-old Adam Heinke as the man who lost his life following a traffic collision on May 12 near Kent.

Officers actively responded to the area of the East Valley Highway, aka 83rd Avenue South, near South 277th Street at around 3:19 a.m. after getting reports of a single-vehicle crash. According to the investigation reports, the vehicle plunged down an embankment.

Reports further revealed that the car smashed into a tree. Heinke died from multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death was accident. East Valley Highway was shut down between South 266th Street and South 277th Street as crews worked at the scene. No further details were provided.

An investigation is continuing.
