The San Diego Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident that killed a 31-year-old motorcyclist in San Diego on Friday. The accident occurred at around 8:16 p.m. on Governor Drive and Erlanger Street
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision. A KTM was headed down the road at a high speed when it collided with a 2005 Lexus SUV driven by a 66-year-old woman. The SUV had moved into the lane of the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was declared dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
