31-Year-Old Man Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Houston (Houston, TX)

According to the Houston Police Department, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Houston on Saturday. 

The crash happened in the 5900 block of Westheimer Road at around 6:45 p.m. 

According to the Police, the pedestrian was crossing the road when the driver of a red truck traveling eastbound struck the male. 

The driver of the unknown vehicle also did not stop to render aid and the pedestrian was struck again. 

The pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. 

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences did not reveal the identity of the deceased victim. 

No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Police.
