31-Year-Old Kentwood Man Died In A Single-Car Crash Near Grand Valley State University (Tallmadge Township, MI)

On Thursday, a man was hospitalized following a single-car crash near Grand Valley State University. 

The crash happened on Linden Drive near Winans street in Tallmadge Township around 8:25 p.m.

 According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, a southbound SUV that took a curve ended up on the gravel shoulder. According to the report, the drive-over corrected and drifted across the road before rolling down the embankment.

The SUV struck a tree and ended in a pond.

The 31-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the crash is under review.
