Navasota Police reported a Saturday night motorcycle crash that left a person dead.
The motorcycle was traveling north on FM 379 when it struck an 18-wheeler truck waiting to turn onto Grace Street.
The motorcycle veered off the roadway following the collision.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Issac Barrera from Navasota. Barrera was declared dead at the scene. The 18-wheeler truck driver and passenger remained unharmed.
FM 379 was shut down for several hours for investigation and clearance.
The crash investigation is being assisted by the DPS Troopers.
