The Ottawa County Police responded to a motorcycle accident on July 30 that left the driver with severe injuries. The crash occurred in Holland Township near the Quality Car wash on 8th street.
According to the investigators, a 31-year-old driver was heading westbound on 8th street with his family following behind him. Following that, he glanced back at his family and then looked forward before crashing into the curb.
The driver was assisted by the Holland City Department of Public Safety. He was admitted to the Holland Community Hospital with severe injuries.
The investigators say the victim was not wearing safety gear while driving.
The investigation is under review.
