On Wednesday morning, 31-year-old Gabriel Mandry, of Cape Girardeau, MO, was killed following a traffic collision on I-40 in Lebanon.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle accident took place at about 6 a.m. on Interstate 40 at South Hartmann Drive in which a tractor-trailer and another vehicle were involved. All westbound lanes were shut down on Interstate 40 from S. Hartmann Road for several hours as crews worked to clear the crash scene.
Officials have since reopened one lane to traffic. The events that have led up to the deadly accident remain unknown at this time. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
An investigation is ongoing.
