31-year-old Deandre Miller dead after a car accident on I-94 (Charleston Township, MI)

On Sunday morning, 31-year-old Deandre Miller, a Battle Creek man, lost his life following a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 94.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at around 1:45 a.m. on I-94, close to Mile Marker 90. The early reports showed that Deandre Miller was heading east in a 2014 Ford when he failed to maintain control of his car. Miller was suspected to have been drinking and was not wearing a seatbelt when he was ejected from the vehicle.

A passerby and first responders with the Galesburg-Charleston Fire Department attempted to revive Miller, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A woman in the passenger seat was transported to Borgess Hospital with unspecified injuries. No other details were provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
