30-year-old Hannah Nghaite died after an auto-pedestrian crash in Santa Fe Springs (Santa Fe Springs, CA)

Authorities identified 30-year-old Hannah Nghaite as the woman who lost her life after being struck twice on Dec. 30 in Santa Fe Springs.

The fatal hit-and-run crash took place shortly before 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Parkmead Street and Pioneer Boulevard in Santa Fe Springs. According to the investigation reports, two vehicles struck Hannah Nghaite before leaving the scene. Nghaite was on her morning walk when the first vehicle hit her in a crosswalk on Pioneer Boulevard, followed by the second vehicle.

Both vehicles left the scene after hitting her. Officials identified the first vehicle as a dark-colored Sedan, while the second vehicle is suspected to be a white 2011 thru 2015 Nissan Rogue. Both vehicles are believed to have considerable damage. Officers sought the public’s help in finding the drivers involved in the hit-and-run collision. No other details are made available.

The incident remains under active review.
