A tragic motorcycle accident unfolded in north Phoenix on Thursday morning. The accident resulted in the death of a 30-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Gavin Green.
Around 11:30 a.m., authorities responded to a crash near Tatum Boulevard and Bell Road. Green was found critically injured at the scene and rushed to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The preliminary investigation suggests that Green was travelling south on Tatum Boulevard. At the same time, an SUV driver pulled out in front of him, leading to the collision. The SUV driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
This marks the second fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in the Valley on Thursday.
