30-Year-Old Abraham Riquiac Gonzalez and 38-Year-Old Pedro Jimon Died In A Single Vehicle Collision In Quah County (Quah County, NM)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Quay County.

The accident happened near the crossroads of US Highway 54 and Quay Road AD,

Abraham Riquiac-Gonzalez, 30, was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry with passenger Pedro Jimon, 38, of Clovis, as they were headed north on Quay Road AD when they crossed the railroad rails and were hit by a westbound freight train.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The train engineers are unharmed.

According to police, there is no evidence that alcohol played a role in the collision.

Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not yet provided by the officials.

The collision is still being investigated by the officials.
