On Tuesday, a two-vehicle collision on US 95 took the life of 30-year-old Aaron Lew Barrus, of Las Vegas.
The fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 12:20 a.m. on the US 95, south of Ann Road. The early reports indicated that a white and black 2020 Suzuki GSK-R750 was going southbound on the US 95 at a high rate of speed. At some point of time, the motorcycle swerved from its travel lane and entered the left paved shoulder in a locked wheel skid.
The front of the Suzuki hit the concrete median barrier wall. The impact threw the rider from the motorcycle and they hit a light pole located in the center median. Aaron Lew Barrus suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. No other details were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
