Jackson County reported a two-car crash in the U.S. 127 Wednesday morning. The crash resulted in the hospitalization of three people.
The crash happened on the Highway near Wetherby Road in Sutherneastern Jackson County. A Southbound White Kia Soul entered the northbound lane of traffic and collided with a Green Chevy Trailblazer driving north.
Cpt. Kevin Hiller said all three people were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Following the treatment, they are reported to be in stable condition.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, U.S. 127 remained closed to traffic and was reopened about two hours later.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
