According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Davis on Sunday.
The crash happened at Interstate 80 in Solano County at around 3 a.m.
The officials stated that an Infiniti sedan and a Hyundai sedan were involved in the head-on collision.
The driver of an Infiniti was identified as 31-year-old Bryana Mitchell, traveling in the wrong direction and crashing head-on into a Hyundai Sedan.
The drivers of both the cars along with the passenger in the Infiniti were pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
The deceased passenger was identified as 27-year-old Neoshe Hubbard and driver of the Hyundai was identified as 30-year-old Joseph Escajada.
Two passengers suffered major injuries and were rushed to the UC Davis Medical Center.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
