3 people injured after a street racing crash in Mt. Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN)

On early Saturday morning, a street race that spanned across two counties left three people in the hospital in Mt. Juliet.

Officers were informed that multiple vehicles were speeding over 100 mph a little after midnight. The preliminary investigation showed that some vehicles involved fled in multiple directions. One of the vehicles continued to travel at fast speed.

That vehicle then collided with two other vehicles on Lebanon Road, close to Andrew Jackson Boulevard, causing them to flip over. On arrival, medics transported three injured victims to an area hospital with non-critical injuries. Officers mentioned the driver will be charged with reckless driving.

The incident remains under active investigation.
