3 people injured after a car crashes into a tree in Holland area (Holland, MI)

On early Saturday, three people suffered injuries following a single-vehicle crash in Holland area.

As per the initial information, the incident took place at around 12:20 a.m. in the area of Garfield and Elm Streets in Holland Township. The area is close to Butternut Drive and James Street. The early reports indicated that a 16-year-old Holland girl was driving a 2004 Honda Pilot when her vehicle drifted off the road and hit a tree.

On arrival, emergency crews transported the girl and two others in the vehicle to a hospital with non-critical injuries. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
