3 people, including a student hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident in Odessa (Odessa, TX)

Three people, including a student were hospitalized after a traffic collision Wednesday morning in Odessa.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at the intersection of Melody Lane and Permian Drive. The early reports showed that an Ector County ISD school bus and an SUV were involved in the crash. The reports also revealed that an SUV went through a stop sign, resulting in the wreck.

The SUV’s driver and the driver of the bus were both transported to Medical Center Hospital with minimal injuries. One student was shifted to Odessa Regional Medical Center, but did not complain of injury. Their parent just wanted them to be checked as a precaution. The SUV will be listed at fault in the collision. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
