On Friday afternoon, three people suffered injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Santa Paula.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on South Mountain Road and Balcom Canyon Road at about 2 p.m. in which a bus was involved. The early reports showed that there were 11 people on the bus at the time of the collision, including the bus driver, nine student-athletes, and a coach.
On arrival, paramedics transported the bus driver and two student-athletes to the hospital with minimal injuries. At this time, it is unknown why the bus rolled over. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
