3 people hurt after a Tesla ended up on top of another vehicle in San Diego (San Diego, CA)

On Wednesday, three people received minimal injuries after a Tesla crashed out of one Kearny Mesa parking lot and into another one below it, ending up atop the back end of an unoccupied ambulance in San Diego.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the 4800 block of Greencraig Lane, just north of Balboa Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed that the car suspended over a retaining wall with its back end stuck against an embankment between the two lots after the accident.

The front of the Tesla came to a stop atop the ambulance, which was in a row of parked medical-services vehicles. On arrival, medics transported two of the three people from the white Tesla Sedan to Sharp Memorial Hospital with superficial injuries. The third person refused to be taken to the hospital for treatment. No other details are available.

The incident remains under investigation.
