3 people hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Montcalm County (Greenville, MI)

On Thursday morning, three people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Montcalm County.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place on M-91 near the intersection of Briggs Road in Pine Township, north of Greenville. The early reports showed that a pickup truck was traveling southbound on M-91 when the driver went over the centerline and crashed into an oncoming Amish buggy.

On arrival, medical personnel airlifted the buggy driver to the hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with life-threatening injuries. A passenger was rushed to the hospital through ambulance in serious condition. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The horse died as a result of the accident. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
