3 people hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Hesperia (Hesperia, CA)

On Wednesday afternoon, three people sustained injuries following a traffic collision in Hesperia.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 4:10 p.m. on Summit Valley Road near Los Flores Road. The early reports showed that a silver Ford Mustang and a black pickup truck were involved in the accident. On arrival, responders found both vehicles with major damage and the occupants requiring extrication.

Firefighters also requested four ground ambulances and three airships to land at the Hesperia Airport. Emergency crews airlifted three people to various trauma centers and at least one other was taken locally. Officials closed Summit Valley Road in both directions as crews worked at the scene. No further details were provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
