The Sacramento Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash Wednesday night. The accident happened along the San Juan Rd 900th block, close to Northgate Blvd at around 8:16 p.m. 9 children and 2 adults were in the vehicle.
One adult was pronounced dead at the scene. A 3-year-old and a 7-year-old passed away overnight. Eight other people were injured.
The names and identities of the victims have not been made public yet. It is unsure what led up to the crash and how the crash happened. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. Additional details are not available currently.
