3 People Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Macon County (Macon, GA)

The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Central Georgia on Thursday.

The crash happened on Interstate 75 in Macon.

In the southbound lanes of I-75, a 27-year-old male was operating a Chevy Tahoe north when he collided head-on with another car.

Nomari Waite, 27, and Carmyn Anderson, 5, both died in the crash.  The third person, Marcellas Coppage, 26, was in severe condition when she was taken to a hospital in Macon.

It is confirmed that the Tahoe driver was drunk.

Waite and Coppage were a couple driving from Atlanta to their house in Florida to pick up Anderson, Coppage’s daughter.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the police.
