According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Fresno on Sunday.
The crash happened near Floral and Cedar Avenues at around 1:45 p.m.
The officials stated that a flatbed truck and an SUV were involved in the collision.
According to the reports, the driver of the truck was driving southbound, while an SUV was traveling westbound. The SUV did not stop at a stop sign and struck the truck.
The police stated that three people in the SUV suffered major injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was rushed to the hospital suffering major injuries.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
