On Sunday, Georgia State Patrol troopers chased down a driver on Interstate 20 eastbound in Atlanta, leading to the hospitalization of three children.
Around 6:12 p.m., a trooper from the Crime Suppression Unit attempted to pull over a white Chevy Camaro on Moreland Avenue. The driver did not stop and continued onto I-20.
Troopers chased the car until the driver lost control and struck several vehicles before overturning into the woods.
Three small children were found inside the vehicle and transported to a hospital. It is unknown what happened to the driver, who was trapped inside the car.
The multi-vehicle accident is being investigated.
