29-Year-Old Man Died In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Memphis (Memphis, TN)

According to the Memphis Police Department, a hit-and-run accident was reported on Saturday night. 

The officials reported that at around 10:30 p.m. two vehicles crashed at Knight Arnold Road and S Mendenhall Road. 

Upon the arrival of the officers, a man was found injured on the road. 

The injured victim was rushed to Regional One where he was declared dead by the authorities. 

The other vehicle involved in the crash was identified as a Chevy Silverado. 

The officials stated that the driver of the Chevy Silverado fled the scene after failing to render aid. 

The identity of the deceased victim was not provided by the officials. 

No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the Police. 

It is unknown whether drugs, alcohol or reckless driving was a factor involved in the fatal crash
